About the conference
In October 2020, within the framework of the activities for the anniversary of our Iquitos Refinery, a virtual conference called “The Amazon and Hydrocarbons” was held, seeking to assess the impact of the hydrocarbon industry and learn about the proven reserves and identify synergies for its development.
About the Speaker
Eng. Gustavo Navarro
Chemical Engineer from Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería, graduated from the Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Universidad del Pacifico. He has more than 47 years of experience in the hydrocarbon industry. As General Director of Hydrocarbons, he promoted the development of Camisea and the change in the country’s energy matrix. Director and vice president of Perupetro, of the Oil and Gas Institute of the UNI and of CENERGÍA. He was a member of the committees of the Nodo Energético and Gasoducto del Sur energy security projects. He is director of the World Energy Council Peru section, Honorary Director of the Peruvian Chamber of Natural Gas of Peru and of the Association of Taps and Service Stations of Peru.
